The Sigatrev visualizer is pretty great, just that it didn't compliment the song very well, as the song wasn't very "exciting". Perhaps a better idea for a song like that would be some sort of 8-bit-themed visualizer?
As for the visualizer of Vertex +i, I was sort of amazed when I saw it. Great work in general there. A couple of things:- It's usually bad practice to have the visualizer extend beyond the bounds of the window. Tone that down a bit.
- Choose a lower, shorter frequency range, as getting higher frequencies usually results in a visualizer that's too active.
- When you have a left-to-right layout like that, using rotational symmetry (flipping it 180 degrees) is usually a bad idea, and just using one, unreflected waveform, or just one kind of symmetry (horizontal, vertical, not both) would be a better option.
1. Yeah, on the Sigatrev one I wasn't that good at making something 8-bit themed, so I just thought of that.
2. I didn't think it was going to jump up THAT high. Honestly, I would've toned it down in that situation.
3. If you mean frequency bands, I could. If it's another thing, I could try and fix that to.
4. Someone said it was good, but I really don't know.
Thanks for the opinions! ^^
