I don't understand how people manage to cut themselves with razors. Do you guys just press down really loving hard or something? I've only nicked myself a handful of times, and a majority were when I first started shaving.
People have different types of skin and different kinds of beards. My beard is quite thick, and my skin is quite sensitive. I get razorburn very easily, especially if I use an electric razor. I've found that Double-Edge shaving is the best for me, as it doesn't irritate the skin. The drawback is that Self Delete-razorblades are merciless if you get the wrong angle and apply pressure. I cut myself quite often in the begining, but my technique is better now.
As for pubic shaving: I use a DE razor down there as well. Which is scary as hell, considering that those blades slide through skin like a warm knife through butter. Just remember to keep the right angle, and go with the grain.
