Author Topic: How do i get rid of a stiff neck?  (Read 1799 times)

Long story short, i slept on 3 pillows for some reason

So, how do i get rid of it? it hurts like hell and i cant ignore it.

idk
crack your neck if you can?
I'd just leave it alone for a while
figure out what position hurts the least and stay there if it's that big of a deal

Force move your neck around.

Fill a sock with rice, tie up the open end, heat it up in the microwave, rest it around your neck.

Make sure you relax too. Keeping it tense or focusing on a computer screen isn't going to help. Lie down with that rice-sock.

Force move your neck around.

No.

the most efficient way is to stretch it out by forcing it around, hurts pretty bad but it worked for me

or you can put socks and rice on it and pretend it's getting better.

Yes, thank you.
The rice will only make you forget about the pain, where as forcing your neck around will do something.

Take advil, wait for the swelling to go down

cut off your head
this is what i want to do every time i get a stiff neck

cut off your head
this is my favorite solution for headaches

I hate it when you stretch or something and when you stop stretching your muscles feel like they're cramped up or something. I got up in the morning a few days ago and stretch my neck and I pulled something in it and it felt like the muscle was stuck stiff after stretching. Idk

I wish I were made out of elastic.

Have you tried rebooting your pc?

getting rid of a stiff neck can take about an hour tops if you don't wanna force, just turn your head slowly until it hurts about every now and then until you can pivot your head normally again. when this happened to me about 3 years ago i played animal crossing ds while coneheads was on
