Author Topic: Favorite Music Group / Band?  (Read 3305 times)

I go by the song, most of the time, not by the artist. But I'd have to say, a few of my all-time favorites are:

- Inside Info
- Most Monstercat artists
- Modu
- Deadmau5
- Noisia
- Other flippin' awesome-sauce-boss DnB artists I can't think of at the moment...

I also forgot I like the Beatles.

im a forgetful person.

I love Sufjan Stevens. He's not really a band, but I love his music.
Oh my god he's amazing. Amazing. loving amazing. Seen Swans is one of his bst albums, but Michigan and Illinois are great too. Im not a huge fan of Adz.

My favorite band is Pink Floyd, hands down.
I also am really liking Wolfmother, Jimi Hendrix, and Tyr right now.

I love Seven Swans as a whole, it's loving brilliant. From Illinois, Casimir Pulaski Day (my second favorite) always brings a tear to my eye, as does John Wayne Gacy Jr, and The Predatory Wasp of the Palisades is Out to Get Us! (MY FAVORITE) as well. I kind of like Adz, but it really has to grow on you because it's so different.

His music is so hard to explain to people, though, and not many people I know like him :c

The best off of Illinois, for me at least, is Jacksonville.

I do like Jacksonville as well, but after seeing Sufjan perfom the Predatory Wasp of the Palisades at Austin City Limits, it's been my favorite song, his performance was phenomenal

Having my head up my ass in the fifties,
Buddy Holly
Jerry Lee Lewis
Elvis
Eddie Cochran
I guess just anything from the fifties in general, but I love all kinds of music, ragtime, big band, disco, some new stuff here and there, It's a broad range, but I mostly enjoy stuff from the fifties.

Sufjan isn't coming to LA for a while. If he was I'd go.
