gotta love the anti windows vista circlejerk that goes on everywhere

The only thing I have against Windows Vista is the interface design and lack of performance optimizations anywhere.

Not just "more features". Everything related to performance and reliability is extremely improved.
This. Also, with windows 8.1 dropping soon, the ui will be vastly improved as well

I have lots of favourites.

Best ones: Windows 7, 8 or Mountain Lion OSX
Worst: Windows Vista and XP

Personally, I hate Windows 8.1 for adding the start button back.

whats wrong with the start button

You should really change the topic title to say "Favorite/Least Favorite OS". Many people are too opinionated to actually figure out the advantages and disadvantages of the supposedly best and worst OSes.

I thought you could just re-disable it and set the default boot screen back to live tiles
I find it hard to believe that microsoft still isn't aware that people want options

@above post I agree

whats wrong with that

Wow, am I that sarcastic. I need to make my jokes more obvious.

I used Vista for about a year cause it came with my laptop. I had no problems with it, but I did upgrade to Windows 7 after that came out and I much prefer it.

whats wrong with the start button

It's ugly and I've never in my entire life clicked on it in any Windows OS.

I remember reading somewhere that there won't be a setting for "disabling it", though? Oh well.

I love the start button cause I hate having any icons on my desktop or taskbar.

Best: Windows 7 and Mac Mountain Lion
Worst: Windows XP
