I have been having 3 problems with lag lately and I am sick and tired of them. Here are the problems:
Problem 1:
I would get sudden 5 second lag spikes if these were to appear in the console:
Posting to master server
Posting to RTB server
Authcheck
Authcheck successfull
Saving persistence
If I were hosting it will lag the entire server, if I was playing on another server it would only lag me, which would suck on those challenge servers.
Problem 2:
After I host for about an hour or so, the server will go into a state I call ''Event Lag'' what happens is my fps will drop, and all events will not work for a period of time. After 30 or so seconds, the event lag will stop, and the events will play. About 5 to 10 minutes later it will happen again and last longer than last time, eventually leading to me having to shut down the server. Strange thing is the FPS drop is only for me, the only thing that effects the other players is the events not working.
If I was playing on a server it would do the same thing but it doesn't lag the events, it's only the fps drop.
Problem 3:
If I open the RTB overlay I don't have a problem, But then if I close it, I would lag for about 5 seconds, then stop.
If I were hosting it will lag the entire server, if I was playing on a server it would only lag me.
