Basically what I meant from this was that some of the best servers I have played didn't get traffic and weren't hosted very long.

that's good to hear. maybe some people like different servers than you? maybe the best servers you played were rare and obscure, but for other people their favorite server could be something that is really popular. the poll is no indication of the "best server", but its certainly not just people voting for the names that appear at the top of the list. there isn't a best server because everybody likes different things. it's more of a people's favorite server poll.

That's because good builders go there, because he's Badspot and he made the game.

Plus, it's one of the most everlasting and influential servers of all time
For everlasting, all you need to do is host it a lot. How is it influential?
