Author Topic: School has FINALLY begun!  (Read 4035 times)

today was my orientation
..i got fundamentals of math for some reason
like, i was bad at math last year, but i passed with Cs. i think they overdid it :(

I'm actually excited about school because my school has very nice and helpful teachers that make sure you learn what they're teaching you.

And also that I get to learn what I want at home.  I'm also eligible to take college classes this year. (well technically next year but you know what I mean) :D
Anyways,
mine starts september 3rd
yay

The nice thing about homeschooling is that (at least for me) there is no homework.
Work at school is called schoolwork, work at home is called homework. You are working at home.

Starts next Monday for me. stuffty 10th grade. Also my sister is moving to college that Friday which is gonna feel strange.

Good thing I graduated years ago. Apparently my little brothers and old teachers have to wear lanyards with an id card them now at all times. Before you had to just bring an id card, but nope the paranoid school decided that you have it visible at times just because a stranger could walk onto campus.

Yeah that happened at my old school too. P. stupid because all of the teachers know who we are.

If they are worried about strangers walking on, not just limit the amount of entrances to the school. My schools were all concerned about looks, so there are hardly any chain link fences.

i started today and i guess it was an okay first day of public schooling after four years of homeschooling
the air force jrotc was kind of intimidating along with the intro to engineering design

Started sophomore year at my high school today. Kinda sucks that I have to wake up at 5 AM again and I get home at 4 PM. At least I get every Friday off. Around 300 kids right now, some are bound to drop out.

Dear god, Middle School is a nightmare for me.

The nice thing about homeschooling is that (at least for me) there is no homework.

well that explains your excitement

I got like the best senior year schedule I could ask for. Nothing but Math (acc. Pre-Calc, Personal Finance, and Technical Drawing basically math), Science (acc. Physics), and Computer classes (AP Java and Web Design), excluding English IV, required.

I start the week after labor day, forgetin awesome.

I woke up around 6:20Am today, went back to sleep for about five minutes, went on the computer + saw gta v news, browsed it. Ate ramen, went to starbucks with my dad. Then we went to the school.
He hung out with me for about 20 minutes (shhh, i know) and then I found my class, talked to a kid about video games for about 20 minutes and then we learned we would be doing Photoshop stuff, actual photoshop stuff too.
Then we logged on computers and everything, then i went to my next class which is p. lame, science which is the only class i dont like bc its uncomftorable and my teacher has an Alabama accent.
Then we have nutrition before PE, where we get 15 minutes to eat snacks or forget around with our friends on the basketball court + or do nothing. I headed into PE, where i was not the only new 8th grader. It was pretty coo. The teacher's nice. It's okay.
Algebra was next, and my teacher gave us homework. It was alright as a class, but i don't really find math all that fun if our teacher gives us homework on the first day of school, because that does not give off a good impression.
Then I went to Lunch, which was okay. I sat by myself for most of the time and this guy came over and asked if I was okay. I said yes (i really was) and he kept walking, he was an administrator.
I then went to Soc Science which was the best class. I was in a group with this kid Kevin (only person whose name i learned) and we arranged these cards from order of the wars we have been in oldest to newest. We were the fastest group to finish in the whole day.
Then I went to English, which was alright. I had to awkwardly interview this lady sitting next to me and she had to interview me too. This grade isn't anything special, certainly not anything i'm excited about.

i'm looking forward because i realized not to give a forget what others think about me

i was insecure as forget last year but forget their stuff i have better things to be doing than impressing the little stuffs around my school

the only people who matter are the ones who understand and see the good in me.

The nice thing about homeschooling is that (at least for me) there is no homework.
Every mystery is solved.

I would have given anything to be home schooled.
