I work in a local racecar driver's shop. He has over 800 career wins and is probably one of the most prestigious drivers in the northeast. It's been a pretty awesome experience. I basically help build his cars in the offseason, and during the racing season maintain and repair them. Here's some pics of the shop.

that's awesome
I had actually seen someone with one of those rigs at one of my local race tracks.  The guy couldn't park anywhere, lol.

OT: Next year I might have a job at a Renaissance Festival.

I work at a school with children afterschool until their parents come. Part time job that works around school schedule. I work primarily with Kindergarten (5 - 6 yrs) and groups around 14 - 18 kids.

i worked maintenance at a camp for really cheap since im not actually old enough for a real job (besides at a farm). but now i have football so i prob wont do anything until thats over.

It sort of depends on how long the job was. Was it 3 months,or a few weeks? He could've probably made more than that working a real job.
I think I worked a total of 20 days.

I think I worked a total of 20 days.

I think that it was worth it then, especially for $1000.

i wish i didn't live in such a small town
the only fun places to work here would be radioshack, dairy queen, and that's about it. everything else is fast food (or i'd have to work at the dry cleaner's that my family runs :c)

I'm currently designing a couple websites for a local restaurant and a new pool business.
