Author Topic: silver legs, swinging free - steamy hot button pushing  (Read 11491 times)

you reach out and grasp the cable that so recently attempted to leave you
your hand slips teasingly, your lifeline testing you as if questioning your choice
you bring your other arm up to affirm your decision, securing your grip on the rough metal cabling

you let the conveyor bring you to a platform; you can see your method of transport curving ahead
it turns as if to dare you to return to the loop of sleeping clones
but the doored platform offers you an alternative: freedom with the cost of uncertainty

with these options considered, you're left to ask yourself something
to whom do you answer?

Stay, if we can free more clones then we won't be alone to take on the uncertainty

oh wow, i didn't know about this until now

>quick grab on to something
Grab onto the cable with the cuffs.
OR
Try to grab a ledge on a wall that you are near with your cuffs.
grab cabls
Need I say more?

you maintain your hold, submitting to the whim of the cables as they cart you where they please
as you pass you watch the glowing sea of orange and it in return gazes longingly to you
the heat grabs at you, straining you; your grasp falters momentarily as the sea wills you to go to it

still you watch the waves of clones as they are dropped from the belts
they fall as ragdolls and they lay in the clutches of the mistress that is the fire below; she claims them as her own, and they may never leave her

a windowed room approaches you from ahead, inside of it you see countless switches and dials and the like
perhaps this is the execution of choice for those that, upon seeing your own image in the glass, reflect you perfectly?
the box is empty, the machines left to their own devices; they are destined to run until they cannot run anymore

a landing approaches, wordlessly asking if you would like to take refuge upon it
do you accept?

Jump onto the land as if we were about to head into a firey pit of doom.

a sudden sense of urgency fills you and you choose to let yourself land on the platform
it welcome you with open arms and draws you in closer, pulling you into the control room

before you lies a whole slew of controls: switches, dials, buttons, long burnt-out monitors...
they gently blink, tick, and whir at you, greeting you sweetly into their presence
you don't know how anything here works, but perhaps they'll tell you in time

Look around the control room for any doors or manuals.

Ask and it shall given.
So ask the computers.

grab the cuffs/cables.

wait why did this post only now wtf phone

you approach the consoles and attempt to speak to them, but all that comes out of you is a series of beeps and static
ah, oh well

taking another look at the array, you can make out faint labels on some of the switches and buttons and dials
they're hardly legible, the text worn from years of age
despite this, the machinery points your eyes to a section marked "conveyor controls"

you step closer to them
most of the titles on these controls are missing
there is, however, a button that stands out to you, and you have the urge to press it

shall you give in to temptation?

Yes, take a risk and press the button.

Yes, take a risk and press the button.
NONONONONONONO. WHAT IF IT IS THE BIG RED BUTTON!?!?!?
D:

Yes, take a risk and press the button.

your hand hovers over the large red button, pointed fingers barely grazing the smooth surface
thumbing it lightly, you brush a layer of dust off of it, your digit making a small click against the material
you contemplate pressing it, but...

NONONONONONONO. WHAT IF IT IS THE BIG RED BUTTON!?!?!?
D:

you draw your hand close to yourself again, rethinking your plan
you don't know what this control does, what if it's a bad choice?
it's such a nice shade of red though, very appealing to the eyes...

...can i?

Pull the button out of place, and follow the wires

Pull the button out of place, and follow the wires
BUT... BUT...

That may activate it you dumbfool!
