Welcome to Low Security Unit #4, recruit.

As an employee in the wonderful Wendell Power Station & Biohazard laboratory, we think safety is the number one thing.

So you will be read the guidelines.

The guidelines are in this... i'm not going to read it to you. Too boring.

Right now, you're working in LSU4. That stands for, Low Security Unit #4.

You will maintain and operate the main object in the LSU4 unit.

That main object is the Generators and the Objects.

The Generators let the power run through the building, obviously.

The Objects are beings who are to be monitored.

Remember that computer game, SCP?

This isn't like that.

These are just like mental hospital people, not crazed statues that move.

Right now we're going to take a look at this one that we've been monitoring.

You see that man, right there?

See how he's listening to music?

Watch this.

I have removed the music from his room.

Notice how he is now thrashing around.

We're running various medical tests, what you're meant to do today is work on this man.

Perform various procedures, here are your materials.

Standard moxiamphetamine, should alter mood in the opposite way of how he's feeling.

Low-biohazard melephatine, use this carefully. Check your manual for more information on melephatine.

High-biohazard ambidioxidrint, which is the most powerful "Change" Drug in the world.

It will alter any random aspect of this man. His appearance, his mindset, the way he flicks his eyes around etc.

Use carefully. That stuff's expensive.

Well, I'm off. Get to work. Don't kill him. His name is the Composer.

Change the music to intense screamo.

Ugh... Manuals.
Let's see here... Should check the manual for that... What's it called?

Umm... Low-biohazard melephatine.
Weird.

Change the music to intense screamo.
You change the music to level 46 - intense screamo.

He seems to react normally. Maybe it's not the type of music, just the music itself.

Meaning: if it's on or off.

Change the music to a series of random noise(s). See if he still considers it music.

Play a High note that goes on forever accompanied by random gunshot sounds.

See if he considers that music.

Change the music to a location filled with people having idle conversation. See if it's just noise or music he prefers.

Late response, but...

What I meant was that because there aren't pretty pictures, your brain has to create a mental image of the events. Sometimes text adventure writers try to use a lack of descriptive words, however, to make us questions.

A picture adventure does have imaginative values to it, but most people will interpret the events in the same way, since we're presented with a picture that depicts the story.

He flinches and reacts semi-violently. seemed to find the gunshots more soothing, because its more repetitive.
