Or will he change to , a diffrent thing again , like returning to the return of blockland , also on a unrelated note how cool would it be to have a gaming engine like unreal , or crytex.

It would suck. BL can run on almost any computer at this point, and it would not with one of those. The more compatible computers=bigger market=more monies for Badspot.

he might add return to blockland when it is released for retail but i think it will just redirect you to the site

I think RTB has the same chance of being included in BL that any other add-on would. (Which means "not likely", if I were to guess.) But, I wouldn't be against the idea. :)

As long as it doesn't mess with major things in the game play.(ex. The building and brick getting system from rtb0002)

Crytek*
And no, it would begin to lag like hell.

I'm just saying thath how cool would it be to have a blockland type game with a good engine , ( NOT free but a full GAME )

TGE is good enough for what we want. We don't need an engine like Valve's Source to make Blockland.
Also, I don't think Badspot (not Bad-spot) will ever change the engine for his games.

Lol, if I were him, I would make my own engine.

Do you know how UNBELIEVABLY hard it is to do that?

NOPE, as a matter of fact, I am in the middle of making one >:P
I have editting system so far.  I just need collision, etc.

Right. What language are you using?

I think a proprietary engine for Blockland would be stupid, as would a move to the CryENGINE or Unreal Engine, because it would limit the userbase and leave our cherished modders in the dark.

Not to mention that Badspot actually works for GG, so he is probably learning A LOT about the engine, and probably working on it a bit himself.

It could be ported up to TGEA. Lots of cool features there.
