What's a game or program I should make?

If you use RTB as anyhting other than a friend's list and an add-on downloader, you're a nut. The public IRC room is so awful.

I actually did try to remake LSD. That worked well for a bit. I needed map makers though.

The Ludum Dare is coming up, maybe you can make something for that.

Well then anyone could fake being, say, Badspot.
And no, you can't use the passwords. Any add-on that uses passwords from the forums would be failed, says Ephi.
Unless you meant a Blockland IRC channel client standalone, which I doubt anyone would use.

What's so funny in legitimate business? Why not make a similar 'product' that is better overall and make actual money off of it, then take down your competitors? Sure it's easier said than done, but it can still work.

I was actually referencing to taking down the IRC servers. That.. would be near impossible, unless you could do one of these options.

1) Force all people to instantly stop using the IRC system at once
2) Hack their servers and force a sort of self destruct/shutdown
3) Somehow force them to shut their own servers down despite still being popular

Or you can buy them out, it's not like their making any profit out of RTB anyway. They already said before they aren't in it for the money.

1) This can happen on it's own naturally if you have a better product, I mean not at once, but slowly it will start to decay.
2) You can but there's absolutely no point and a waste of time.
3) Yes, buy their servers then keep them for yourself or shut them down, and continue to grow your own product after the decay in #1.

Why would you even bother with the thought of taking down IRC servers? IRC is already dead, now that we have stuff like social networking, Steam, and Skype to communicate.
It would be beating a dead horse for no reason.

Generate a code/hash of some kind for each person and have them stick it into their forum signature or something.
