I'm still sticking with my idea for a game based on the physics of hand thrown explosives. Maybe the more times you hit your target through obstacles/mazes with thrown things, the more points you get, and the better items you get?
Oh! Or something where YOU build the puzzle! You get a certain amount of bumpers, launchers, speed boosters, etc, and you have to create a sort of pattern to make the most complicated throw pattern possible before hitting the target and exploding!
