Meanwhile, tucked snuggly between the mountains of the alps...
"Sir! Sir, we have multiple large masses penetrating the atmosphere at approximately," the man pauses, tapping a few keys into the keyboard of his rather large monitor, "Twenty-two thousand four hundred sixty-six kilometers per hour."
"What? Pull up satellite images, put them on the main screen."
"Yes sir," the man replies, tapping a few keys on his keyboard and dragging a few windows on his large monitor, clicking several things. Images appear on the main screen of the room, divided by white borders, each of them of small parts of Earth.
"Zoom out."
The man at the keyboard presses a few buttons, and begins to drag several bars on screen. Moments later, the images begin to become bigger, until
large ships are seen on screen, quickly covering large portions of the planet. Slowly, they come to a halt, although earth continues to spin.
"Oh my god..." says the man giving orders. This ships are visible in the sky all over the world. News channels are plastered with live footage of said ships in the sky, most channels display a government issued warning for people to stay in their homes. Almost every government in the world declares a state of emergency.
The invasion truly begins.
