Author Topic: Your life plan?  (Read 5650 times)

As I realize, many of you vary from age 10-18, and I thought it would be cool if we shared our plan for our life.. And unless you smoke pot every day after school and spending 4 hours of your family bitch at each other, you most likely have a plan, I have a few, one main, and 2 for backup incase the main doesn't work out.

Main - when I turn 18 ill probably go to college only to get crime and justice classes, and after all that non-interesting stuff ends, I'll go sign up to be a correctional facility guard, and I don't need to do college for this, but it will help me, do the written test, then the physical, and then if I pass them well enough, I'll be a prison guard, and that's 47,000 a year starting me off with second shift(3-11), and a 20 year retirement(forget yes).

Backup - if I decide not to do the main, i will keep working at Burger King (as I do now) until I turn 18, then I will go sign up for Walmart, then save money over about 5 years, and then see about getting a job in radio, and then live on.

Backup 2 - (this one sucks) I will work at a company called champ, they make oil filters and such, but that 2 towns away and will take 2 hours away from sleep and a lot of loving gas, hopefully this will not happen.

I really want to be the correctional guard because of how well it pays and I choose to stay at second shift, and the 20 year retirement.

I really don't plan on having kids, just being the uncle that watches my siblings kids, but I probably will burst the plastic and out pops a baby, but I don't want any kids until I'm at least 30.  Enough about my stuffty life plan, lets hear about yours...

my life plan is to become a walrus

It's always good for mouth breathers to raise there post count I see.

no but really probably clock in, turn a corner, get blown to stuff by a hellstorm missle, revert to the nearest checkpoint, get spawn killed, and rage quit out of virtual existance.

Ultimate plan is to be a Software Engineer then start my own business/company, maybe in application/web development.

First part includes getting near perfect grades in Grade 11, pretty easy, all I need to do is stop slacking off and ground myself from games. Second is get a local job next summer, rank up the money. Then perfect Grade 12 grades, apply to university, and begin my adventure.

Plan.

whoo life plans!

Well pretty much my life plan is to do well in high school (or at least average) and once I can I plan on moving to Anchorage, Alaska attending a university there, get a masters somewhere in the English/language arts area and while doing that either try to get a teaching position at some high school or if I'm willing to put forward the effort become an english professor at some college somewhere. Or
become a walrus.

join the marines right out of highschool, havent decided for how long yet, but once i get out i want to join a police for in a major city and make some good bucks (5ish years idk) before settling down and all that.

I'd like to help people, I dunno. Doctor? Maybe join the Navy?

I am enlisting in the USAF next April and will spend the next 2 and a half years going through the combat pararescueman training pipeline. I hope to do that until I feel satisfied and then return to civilian life and create video games.

I would like to have kids at some point.

Whenever someone asks me what I be when I grow up, I say
"When I get out of college, I'll be so smart someone will be like 'I want him to work for me' and bam."
Kinda stupid but that's my plan

Go to university and get a masters in biomedical engineering and then continue research with professors and get a job in Massachusetts.
Starting salary is around 53k-60k with a median mid-career pay of around 100k. It has around an 82% pay growth rate and a 61-70% job growth rate.

Plus it's very interesting.

I don't know if you were implying this, but you can't slack off for 9th and 10th grade and then just quit all games and get perfect grades. It's not that easy, lol, plus you've already wasted two years.
