GCSE results are out today, so post what you got.

Religious Studies - B
Maths - A
French - A (Good wee kid)
English - A
Art & Design - D
Chemistry - B
ICT - A*
LLW - B
Physics - A

Got a D in art because we had a really stuff teacher in first year and couldn't get back the marks i missed because of her. Also, I couldn't leave back in October of first year when I asked so I knew i was forgeted and didn't really care. Don't need it anyway. My main goal was to get at least one A* and I am so glad I did.

Going back for A Level? Post what subjects you are going to do

idk what gcse is the initials of so ill post my grades from school last year

Earth Science: A*
Global Studies: B+
English: B
Health: B+
Geometry: C+**
Anatomy & Physiology: B+
History of Conflict: B
Physical Education: B+

I switched schools halfway through the year. Most of the grades were lower.

* - The teacher at my previous school was a hard ass. She would overflow our binders with work. Most of the class was failing. My number grade was at 55, the lowest possible I.E. an F.
** - The teacher I have now was a little bit of a hard ass, but I tried my best. She is retiring.

i overslept, so i couldn't go in for my results.
all i know is that my ICT is loving fubar because the teacher who then left (because she literally gets forgeted and has a kid as soon as one kid falls out of her vagina) wouldn't help us all in the controlled assessment.

I only got my Science Core course GCSE's this year because I took them a year early.

Physics: B
Biology: C
Chemistry: C
Practical Assessment: A

I got a C overall I think.

Well done to everyone who got through to college!

GCSE's are the standard high-school level qualification in the UK. High-school ends at 16 but you can stay another 2 years to do your A-Levels if you got a C or higher in the relevant GCSE's. A-Levels are required to get university degrees but you can do them at any time in a college so long as you have the money.

More on-topic: I didn't do my GCSE's in High School since I dropped out years before due to my autism. That being said I recently got a C-grade GSCE equivalent certificate in Maths, I'll be getting my C-grade equivalent in English sometime next term and I'll be getting my A-grade equivalent in IT a few weeks after the start of the next term. I'll be going on to get A-grade equivalents in Maths and English after that though.
Someday I hope to teach English as a foreign language

No, they're for the end of mandatory high-school. You can stay in Highschool until age 18 but it isn't mandatory, if you leave at 16 then you still have some form of qualification that could help you get a low-paying job. You're free to get other qualifications at any time through college and university

Physics A*
Chemistry A* (100% yeah man)
Biology A*
Maths A*
Additional maths A*
ICT A* A*
English language A
English literature A
History A
Product design A
German B

That was a few years ago though, not that it means anything cos I flopped A levels OH WELL.

would have loved A* Physics, I'm doing it for A-Level. I had low-ish scores at the start of this year because I didn't understand circuits too well but I'm glad I brought it up at the end

History: C
Science: C
DiDA: A+
IT: Pass

ITT: any time someone gets a grade they dislike, they blame the teacher
