Am I the only one who this is stupid (school story)

I'm not gonna go into much detail but at my school I applied to be an office helper for an elective by writing a long essay and stuff but it turns out they really only accept girls into the position. Apparently only girls are trusted with paperwork and delivering stuff. I guess I don't blame them but I mean a warning would have been nice before I wrote a loving essay.
There's a chance that the stuff I wrote wasn't enough for them but according to others they have never seen a guy working as an office helper before.

I think this might actually be a problem with schools, or at least mine, because honestly I've always noticed girls are always glorified by the teacher and if they're annoying then the teachers just laugh and play along. If a guy is annoying or dumb the teachers hate them. Everyone's catching on and it's getting weird.

I mean I guess they have some reason because it seems that girls are usually more well-behaved in class than guys but still.

In my school the mens bathroom requires you to check out a key from the front office(which is only a few yards away), but the girls bathroom is unlocked. On the other hand, our bus driver makes all the girls sit past the back half of the bus.
