Author Topic: I want a ps3 but my dad is very mean  (Read 6158 times)

I really really want a ps3. Half of my school class has a console and all I have is a very stuffty pc that can hardly run linux and a psp. My mom bought me a psp two years ago and i dont really play on it. I really want a ps3 because all i use my pc for is gaming and i can't afford a gaming computer for stuff, also battlefield 3 and other loving awesome games are for ps3 but the problem is that my dad is so loving mean he will never buy me one and also my dad bought me school books which was like 100 euro and for us thats a lot. So I need some help with convincing him to buy me a ps3. Help please.

How about you be grateful he even feeds you instead of coming on the internet to talk stuff about him.

Your dad bought you some expensive school books for your education. He obviously hates you.

So cheap on ebay <3

Books are good for education... So you can get a good job, not go on the ps3 all the time c:

And anyway, I can buy whatever I want BUT I pay for it myself...

Judging by your post, you don't deserve stuff.

Maybe he bought you school books because it's the beginning of the school year?

If you think that your father is so mean because he's not giving you something that might cause a distraction in your education you're a spoiled brat.

The fact that he also seems to care about your education and your growth in knowledge also means he wishes to disown you.

OP, Stop being a whiny bitch and be grateful for what you DO have, If you dad is "very mean" Then he wouldn't care for your education and he wouldn't of spent 100 Euros on School books for you to LEARN

Wait a couple months until Christmas. You may get one if you stop complaining and be grateful that your dad went out and bought expensive school books for you.

Why not try earning some pocket money?

There must be odds and sods you can do for your family or neighbours or friends?

Your parents might not have the money to pay you for doing extra chores and things, but your neighbours might be willing to give you a few euros for doing things.
Say, walking dogs, washing a car, raking leaves (which will start falling soon), mowing grass or helping in a garden.

Or maybe try and find a little job.
Your local newsagents or even newspaper might hire you as a paper-boy.

Earn a tidy sum of money, slowly but surely, and you might be able to buy stuff for yourself.
Or even ask your parents if you can split the cost.

I've just searched, and a PS3 can cost about £140~ new.
That's about €160. That's a lot of money. But if you slowly work for it, you'll get it in no time.

Don't be sour and ungrateful to your parents.
Money isn't easy for everyone to get and the economy isn't great in most countries in Europe.
They obviously care for you and your education a lot. Don't be mean to them because you can't get the luxuries you want.
I'm sure there are lots of things your parents also would like but they can't afford.

How about you be grateful he even feeds you instead of coming on the internet to talk stuff about him.

this.

also i fail to understand how your dad is "very mean".
because he buys you school books for educational purposes rather than a game console?

that's some A+ reasoning right there.

why would you want a ps3 anyways

why would you want a ps3 anyways
you have said the wrong thing

get out while you still can

you have said the wrong thing

get out while you still can
oh i mean stop being a whiny bitch

from what i can read, i assume that not only are you ungrateful, but, i also can assume that you dont think that your father buying you books for school is important. school is important. playing stuffty video games isnt.
