it should kill you after falling 45 studs at "30" I don't want to put the limit too low because then it would be even lower than normal fall damageyou reach 10 torque units per second from a normal jump

So probably 20 with the scout playertype's double jump? Lol.

"terminal velocity"?
Yes it's a mix between terminal velocity and fall damage

Tweak it to 0.
Don't go down stairs...

every time you go up you can't go back down

that would make for an interesting server idea I just can't think of what.

Trapped : that game where you trap yourself and survive

some sort of minigame where you need to constantly climb up, if you fall you die

So is 80 like realistic terminal velocity or what?

I'm pretty sure it goes higher than that, I think the terminal velocity for a normal player is around 200

I don't like the fact that it is 'speed' because if some block launched you at a high velocity to get across a map (e.g. Valhalla, before shaders), you would die. That may be realistic, but it's still silly in a game like this. I like Furlings idea of falling a certain distance downwards and dying, like on Halo and many other games.

this shouldn't be used in game modes where you get launched dowards at high velocities

This?

How do you tweak it so that if the player falls more than the jump height they get hurt?

$Swol::TerminalFallSpeed = 12;

$Swol::TerminalFallSpeed = 12;

Do they die instantly or just take damage?
