VMA (Video Music Awards) - aka pop music glorify awards

anybody else watch them? was on mtv and fuse tonight, was pretty boring. basically all the crappy pop singers (1d, katy perry, ect.) get their egos stroked and taylor swift talks about her failed relationships (seriously she did this when she won an award). the "best rap video" award went to mackelmore for "cant hold us" which was kind of dumb. plus the "artists to watch" award (basically like a lesser known artist made a good song award) was given to some stuffty white kid.

there were performances but most of them were bad. kanye west still sucks, drake performed one of his stufftiest songs, justin timberlake was good tho even though i dont like him, mackelmore did a good performance i guess. daft punk was there, kevin hart was there (he was funny started talking about kendrick and rapping), he basically hosted the show, would have been a better host anyways.

twitter basically kept me up to date, i felt no desire to watch it at all, mostly because i was watching the big lebowski already.

not surprised it was boring.  everyone wouldn't stfu on twitter about nsync and JT being on the same stage.

While I disagree with the whole entire concept of the VMAs because it's just a place for pop music stars to get stuff because they can make a horrible video of them dancing around in slutty outfits, there are about 3 awards shows dedicated to the music itself. I dont think you understand that.

thats what other awards shows are for bub, this is just one awards show that focuses on the music videos that the artists put a lot of time and work into. its just a show, its not like this is all music artists do nowadays, stop being dumb, music videos are cool and add to the music.

Was Miley high or something? All the celeb's were staring at her like she was an alien. Her performance was pretty distasteful and it made every boner in the world instantly flaccid.
