Author Topic: We have a magic banana spider.  (Read 1054 times)

Okay so, remember how I told you guys about the banana spider I have? (It's the completely harmless Golden Orb Weaver), well, it went from just being nearby our porch, to our railing, now this wasn't a problem and it caught even more mosquitos and bugs because our porch lamp attracts bugs like mosquitos/wasps/yellow jackets/whatever every night, and we still had no problem at all, this morning it was the same way, had a bunch of black marks on it which I guess were the bugs it caught, and in only 7 hours (Maybe even less, that was just how long I was in school), she took her entire loving web and put it by our door, and our porch is actually quite big.

jesus christ she's magic

Sounds like a keeper

She is, we ended up moving her though since my family (including me) has some sort of arachnophobia, so we just put her on the tree nearby so she can still be nearby and catch the passing bugs.

what

the last topic I was asking if the banana spider was harmful but it turns out it wasn't, but now I just thought that this event was interesting.

banana spiders are all magical

they're terrible and i hate them but they're magical

Man the stations, lock down the exits, and prepare for war.

Everyone knows that magical banana spiders have malicious intent.

Golden Orb Weavers are the completely harmless ones, no need to worry.

I just remembered we used to have a Golden Orb Weaver that lived in one of the Golden Euonymus bushes that are next to our porch. It would catch the grasshoppers and moths that would collect at the porch light.

She died, but left us millions of her babies living around the property. crawling everywhere eating everything

ohjesus

one thing is that while I was gone my grandpa smashed her eggs since they're so small and crawl everywhere that they'd probably get in the house.

It's actually pretty amazing that we haven't really had any problems with spiders in our house save for the occasional tiny house spider, our land is literally INFESTED with all kinds of big spiders. Can't even go outside without finding a funnel web with legs poking out.

Magical banana spider? Quick! grab it and grant three wishes!

OP probably has millions of black widows under his house. You might hate them, but they play a role in the eco system.

However the Wandering Spider and Death Stalker scorpion are total starfishs, kill as many as you like.

Yeah, the Brazilian Wandering Spider I have never seen before, but I would kill the first chance I get if I see one since there's still debates whether they're the most venomous in the world next to the black widow
From this video I learned not to be too scared of spiders

I've never seen a banana spider up close before, but I've heard that they can be a nuisance sometimes.
