Author Topic: If you could live in a real life city made out of all LEGO's, would you do it?  (Read 3389 times)

I think I would, but imagine how bad everything would be if there was ever a tornado, mass flooding, a blizzard, or any type of natural disaster. I doubt that even 3 layers of LEGO bricks could hold something together.

A photograph of a home made out of LEGO's:

A video of the LEGO house: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OC1nTGje0pw

James May, the Top Gear presenter and the host of his show Toy Stories constructed that house from pure LEGO's. Yes, I realize it does look quite silly, but it's fascinating how a house could be built from just a basis of LEGO toy bricks, it's remarkable.

It would probably be very unrealistic to have a whole city made out of 100% LEGO bricks, but who knows what could happen in the future.

only if i had special feet

the guy who built that is a noob

punch the lego twin towers
get cake

the guy who built that is a noob

agreed, the architecture was not thought out at all, but this home was just a concept

only if i had special feet

ikr i just thought about it, but there could probably be padding for LEGO floors to make the floors smooth to walk on so your feet don't hurt

no. the structural integrity of every thing in that house is terrible.
the railing on the second floor would break if you leaned to hard on it. other than that its an awesome house

Welcome to the hell house!

take shoes off

forget you're living in a lego house

feet get crippled by legos

the floors are covered with tile bricks

Looks like Lord Tony's house

I like to walk barefoot and if one lego falls..

I walk with slippers or socks around my apartment though, so it isn't too much of a worry. Even then though, I think something would have to be done about the slickness of walking on the LEGO bricks.

actualy, if it looked like this
then i might live in one.
