Maybe Steam can install the windows version on Linux and call it a "Linux Game" and then it just uses wine since it works well with it anyway.

Linux Games on Steam use an .sh file to run (for example Garry's Mod's is called "hl2.sh") so the contents could simply be

wine ./BlocklandLauncher.exe -profilePath ~/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Blockland/

The Steam Runtime could also include wine as a dependency.

The steam package can just list wine as a dependency, and it'll be automatically installed by dkpg. I don't think Steam would actually do that, so maybe it could be downloaded from Blockland somehow.

Either way though, I would just say not to use steam if you're playing BL on linux.

Its about time!
Hope everything goes smoothly when its finally put up onto the store. I wonder why it wasn't sooner though...

So will we be able to transfer Blockland to our steam accounts now?

Also, a little off topic but why is it called "Greenlight"?

Greenlight= Go

Meaning it's a go to put it on Steam.
