Author Topic: Nintendo Announces the 2DS  (Read 7769 times)

The sales that they are putting up like that are fresh factory made sent directly to you.

The reason why Nintendo sells them at 170 is because they are fresh factory made.
The difference being one comes through retail and the other comes from Nintendo directly.

Same can be seen for classic games.
Nintendo can still make them but for inflated prices.

I miss the old ds, the one you could actually fit in your pocket.
How are you going to bring this around to places?
Also, what is with the Wii U style fad?
you have no idea what you're talking about lmao
the first ds was big as forget
the 2nd was smaller,
i think you're referring to the XL versions.

...

What in the actual forget?

I could get a very lightly used 3ds for 100 bucks, if I didn't want that why would I want this

the fact that backwards compatability is a selling point... this is ridiculous

The forget? I would have gotten this to play Animal Crossing New Leaf if it was significantly cheaper than a 3DS, but whatever.

Also known as, the "DS" and the "DS Lite".

Also, the DS wasn't that big comparatively.

You people know this is aimed at more of younger people and familes. Its so 6 year olds cant snap the hinge.

Oh.. I thought this was a joke at first.. Whoops.

Finally someone understands.

Nearly 2 years I've had mine now, and despite carrying it around a lot, I've only completed 2 panels.
Legend of Zelda (mostly from random Playcoin panels) and Kirby, which was the other week.

Rural England sucks. No one has cool things like these.

I got a crap load of hits when I visited the city of Bath.
If I had been brave enough to take it, I might have gotten a number while in Rome.

I can only imagine what it's like in Tokyo. You must get hits everywhere.
I got a japanese guy (My 3rd find) who must've been on holiday in england and he had 15K hits...

Yeah I've heard that streetpass is an everyday thing in japan

Nintendo is still stuff.
Why is Nintendo stuff? Don't ignore this question like you ignored it about 4 or 5 times in the "3DS or Smartphone" thread.

The Nintendo 2DS is in fact NOT A NEW NINTENDO HANDHELD - Its a special remodel of the existing 3DS which is a lot cheaper and meant for little kids. People that are in on the circlejerk are pretty much saying that their heavy metal or whatever the forget they'd listen to is better than the average baby lullaby. The name is pretty damn stupid though. They should have called it the 3DS Kids, but if you call it 3DS Kids, people will think that it has the 3D feature, but if you call it 2DS people are confused about where all the 2DS games are. Its one hell of a dilemma. I guess you could say that they should have named the console DS2 to begin with to not confuse people, but DS2 isn't as fun to say as 3DS and DS2 doesn't tell you about the 3D feature.
