I reported that minecraft person to youtube for abuse.

I wish they'd stop using population as an excuse that Minecraft is better.
In Blockland, I simply find new users 'cute' as they wander around aimlessly, trying out new things.
In Minecraft, they just punch you until you die, steal your stuff, and then start digging straight down.

1.: heh, I remember I did the same. I just couldn't take the awesome and wanted to do everything.

I do the same exact thing, except if I go on Multiplayer I go to servers where you build in separte lots with lots of admins, or do this one zombie server I find very fun.
