Thing with buying games at a store is you'll usually be ripped off one way or another.

Pawn Shops, all day everyday.

They are amazing for buying games, and a lot of the time, even selling them.

Some pawnshops can rip you off too but you're less likely to be screwed over at one than some big name company.

If you're getting screwed over by a pawn shop you have no one to blame but yourself lol.

Most pawn shops I've went to even have a 1 week warranty.

I get so mad when people bitch about the prices that gamestop gives for old games. I imagine a ton of the games  they buy pretty much sit around forever. You're copy of some 2 year old sports game isn't worth stuff. A copy of some fps that was released a year or so ago also isn't worth stuff. Just because you paid $60 for it brand new doesn't mean a year old used copy is worth anywhere near that.

See, that's the correct logic behind it. But then they go and sell it like it isn't stuff.

"We'll give you $5, so we can sell it for $40"

I remember this time I purchased Animal Crossing: New Leaf at a gamestop, and the guy gave me a display game case instead of the real thing, so I went back there after I went out into the parking lot and finally obtained a real copy.

i always go to the Family Video on the way home to clean up any game I bought from Gamestop after the crap that happened with Jak 3

i've got some pretty damn good games from here. Although they're pretty much the British equivalent of Gamestop.

Your game code was invalid. Gamestop is clearly out to get you.

Half of the little kids in here who use the words "rip off" don't understand the system of buying and selling used items and the things attached to the processes.

Get off your toosh and continue to pressure gamestop.

It hurts to see people in America complain about the prices of games as if $60 is a rip off or something, here they try selling a new game for $130-50 usually.

Over $100 just for a new game? Now that is ridiculous. Do people actually pay that much in Australia for these new games? I'm assuming that they wait for the price to lower.

Why did you exclude the cost of the TV?

At that point, you can exclude the cost of a new mother board for the computer your on now.
I already had the TV.

Yeah people pay it because that's what the prices have always been and that's what they're used to, games are taxed the richard out of.

my brother sold our only medal of honour rising sun there
he sold it for around 2 pence

I once saw a used copy of Tales of Vesperia for 50 dollars at a gamestop, which is 10 dollars more then the XBL Marketplace version.
