somehow I doubt some of these things, I'm pretty sure you will be able to get blockland into your steam library and have a steam overlay

Blockland does not and will not have steam overlay support.

Any game you buy/download off steam will be launched through steam and have the overlay

thats how it works, if you lauch it as a non steam game it has the overlay
