Author Topic: Old Simpson's Bowling Ball, Maybe Worth A Bit?  (Read 1975 times)

It was my brothers, but he left it here when he left for the Marines. It says "TM & C '01 FOX" on it, so I assume it was made in 2001.
I did some searching around and found no other ball like this, so maybe it's worth some cash. What do you guys think?

I'd say it's in good condition. A few parts may look faded, but that's just the angle of the photos.
Do you guys think I could make a quick buck with this?

The highest bidder can tell you exactly how much it's worth.

Sell it to a bowling alley, a little kid would be suprised to learn about the simpsons after his bowl return.

I'm sure that you could probably sell it for $30-200 on Ebay, you never know what antique collectors would pay. I don't think that ball has a designated value since it's not commonly owned.

I put it where I want.

I was thinking of just setting the price around $120, and if no one buys it, set it a bit lower each time until someone is willing to spend the money on it.

I'm actually very white, the lighting must just be very poor.

I did get a nice tan at the beach, but it's fading.

I would put it up for $135, and then gradually lower it. I honestly don't see it selling for above $100 though, but you never can be too sure. The most unexpected things can be worth so much, even when you don't even realize it.

Don't just sell your brothers stuff you starfish. No kidding he didn't take it with him, what's he supposed to do with a bowling ball in the Marines? If you're going to sell it at least ask him first.

watch as he sells it then a couple days after his brother dies in the Marines

I'll either get lucky and be $100 richer than I am now, or $30 richer, either way, it's good.

1.) He joined the marines when I was in middle school, he did his service and was honorably discharged last year.

2.) I asked him if he wanted it back before planning to sell it, he told me he had no interest in bowling and let me keep it.

A bowling ball like that is worth nowhere near what people are saying, like at all. As a collectors item it's well under a 100. And as a bowling ball still under $100.
