i told my dad this morning it was in german, he played it from his pc, it played perfectly and in english
i took it back upstairs to try again (it was in a usb stick)
i plugged it into my pc

since i have arch linux, i was thinking i was gonna have to liveboot into another easy-to-use linux distro temporarily so i could watch it, so i downloaded ubuntu and dd'd it onto my usb drive

the bad part is, I HAD THE MOVIE USB STICK IN THERE INSTEAD OF MINE, and i didn't even notice it until it was done!!!
and now all of his data is erased oh god what do i do
