Author Topic: Silly Parents and Computers  (Read 1448 times)

Lol now my family thinks I watch research (well I do lol) because the computer has "viruses" according to Norton.

Sisters computer crashed she instantly glared at me
I said the truth, I didn't know why
"Computers don't just randomly crash."
She says as installing adware.

Whats funny is computers do randomly crash.

Whats funny is computers do randomly crash.
a computer never randomly crashes, unless there is something wrong with it
i had my old computer for what, 5 years, and not a single crash until i overclocked my video card

Not only does she download adware she torrents without checking.

internet stops working temporarily?
ofc its my epic stockpile of research downloads

Huh. I don't get any stuff from my parents but I also don't share computers with them. The only time they'll do anything like this is if the internet is being slow they'll drop into my room and ask if I'm downloading something huge. As far as restrictions go, I've got none and my parents have no interest in imposing them. Guess I'm lucky my parents respect me.

Computers do not 'randomly crash.' That's absurd. If your computer crashes it's because you've done something to it that caused it to crash. Modern operating systems are exceptionally stable.

The issue was that I was watching a video on Youtube, and the video card crashed lol. I guess one of the 100000 virus programs my Dad has on the computer "to keep it safe" marked it as a trojan or something so we can't open it.

crashed the videocard on my mom's old comp.
Blender+1mil faces in a mesh doesn't work out well.

My mum solved a disk failure within an hour after I went to school one day.

Never understood why people would have multiple virus programs
