Author Topic: Google Chrome will not open on just one user.  (Read 3232 times)

What the forget.

Dude just get banned. I need help, stop pointing out the bloody obvious. It crashed because I was watching a video on 1080p, I don't know. You keep posting stupid, off-topic memes that have no correlation to this thread, then the people say you are going to get banned.

Then you get "serious."

The problem solution should've been RIGHT infront of you.

How
You are making no sense at all
If the solution was right in front of him, why don't you just tell him.

EDIT: I got it installed, the icon is back, but it won't open and I don't see any folders inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application

That's not where Chrome installs. It gets put in C:\Users\<You>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome.

I fixed it, kinda. The User Data was corrupt. I just deleted it.

New one appeared, all bookmarks went bye bye and it works.

Although, now the desktop icons do not load the website URL, it opens something like: file:///C:/Users/{my user}/Desktop/[page name].htm

Halp.

you can sign in to get cloud storage of bookmarks n' things next time. as well, you ought to be able to rightclick->properties the shortcuts and change them manually.

In the start you should have just shut down your computer, and then go from there. Now you've messed up Chrome and everything. Plus you'll have to reinstall it on all accounts, I don't think it's computer wide.

I have shut down my computer, three times.

It was a corrupt User Data folder. I didn't do anything wrong, I fixed it.

A problem cannot be a solution, pipsqueak. Now stop posting your pointless, god-awful memes before you get banned for derailing a thread.
