Author Topic: My knee hurts when I drink soda?  (Read 7913 times)

Please be serious. I am worried about my knee and I need to know if anyone else has this so they can explain what to do. Soda is like a part of my life, lol.
Okay, so, for some strange reason, whenever I drink soda, my knee hurts. It is mostly in the right knee, yet a bit of it is in the left.
I doubt its osteoporosis. Does this happen to anyone else?
This doesnt happen to me when I drink something with a lot of caffeine. I also sometimes, mostly when I was younger, ate sugar packets and none of my knees hurt. I doubt its the high fructose corn syrup.
Please help, if you know anything about this, or experience it as well, please reply. Thanks.

It's probably not the soda you're drinking. Are you getting enough exercise? If you aren't, then that is probably the cause of your knees hurting. I am doubtful that it is the soda. It's never happened to me before. Yahoo Answers could be another reliable source for a question like this (although sometimes they don't provide the most straight-forward answers).

Soda actually makes knees weak.
Especially if they're diet soda's due to an artificial sweetener.

But I googled it already.
And I don't drink diet soda, I need to GAIN weight. Like, a LOT of weight.

your first sign of aids

I need to GAIN weight. Like, a LOT of weight.
Unless a doctor told you that you need to gain weight, don't worry about it at all. You're 13. I was underweight at that age too, now I'm at the very high end of healthy weight.

And if you do desperately need to gain weight, I cant think of a more terrible way to do it then drinking a ton of sugared acidic drinks

I'm not alone c:
see a doctor
At my next check-up I will mention it, but this isn't life threatening and it's not making me sick.
