Author Topic: when i lay on my back i get itchy  (Read 2028 times)

i love sleeping on my back but when i try to, i get itchy in some random spot.. i scratch. i get more itchy in other random places. i lay on my side, not itchy, belly, not itchy. does anybody have a solution

maybe you have a rash on your back lol

I'm just going to guess here and say that this is probably a result of increased blood flow from lying on your back, maybe increasing the sensitivity.

1. Is your back clean?

2. Is the inside/outside of the shirt you're wearing clean in the areas of itching?

3. How recent is this?

idk how recent. being clean is very important to me. i don't wear a shirt in bed.

Okay then. Are your sheets clean?

I'm guessing that you either have a rash like RaR said, or you're delusional.

Whats with all these threads, lol

I don't know, but I like it.

I enjoy giving people my half-assed opinions and solutions.

And every now and then, I happen to be of some help to people.

Do what I do. Buy medium-grain sandpaper and use it to itch your back. You're done when it turns white.

Wouldn't that mean you just scratched off your first layer of skin

uhm, no

i get itchy in random places. shoulder, armpit, thigh, etc.

Probably a rash. Have someone look at it or use a mirror.

Or bed bugs.
(or something)

I heard somewhere that sometimes when you're trying to fall asleep your brain will make you itch in random places just to see if you're still awake.
Probably BS, idk.

Probably BS. Your brain wants you to go to sleep, but really, mentally the brain never does, just the body.
