Friend needs internet help

Some of you may know the forum user named Sentry.

I'm currently in a skype call with him and he claims every website he goes to does not load.
every other thing that uses internet works (e.g. Skype, Blockland servers..) but websites don't.

I offered to post this for him because of his problem. I am not posting for a banned user.

If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated, by the way he uses google chrome and he doesn't have any other web browsers on his computer right now.

I've had this problem a few times before except it affected some other programs such as Blockland but Steam wasn't affected at all which is odd, restarting my computer seems to fix it.


EDIT: Don't know what could be causing it, it only started happening to me after I started using my new computer.
