Author Topic: I need help with a debit card I have.  (Read 1618 times)

So for my birthday my aunt bought me a 50$ Visa debit card and when I used it to try and buy Civilization 5 on Steam it set that the card is invalid. So I told my dad and he checked to see if it was still valid on the Visa site and it said it still has 50$ and is only usable at a store. Now apparently there is a way for me to change and make it so I can use it online but I can't find out how. Can anyone help me with this?

Go to GameStop and buy a $50 Steam gift card.

Try going to a gamestop or something and buying a steam gift card with it?

are you sure you're entering everything correctly? its a common mistake that my dad still makes

Ok, what you do, is you drive to her house and drug her. Tie her to a chair and when she wakes up, get every pet or other housemates out of the house. Proceed to light a curtain, and begin to chant "Card is invalid" over and over again, louder each time. Do so until you both pass out and burn to death.

idk man
yes, very helpful.
Anyway, if you really can't change it's ability for online use, you might as well just go to Gamestop or someplace and get a card.

yes you can.

go to vanillavisa.com or wherever your card is located (most likely that one) and you have to confirm your zip code for online use.

pretty sure this is for online taxes or whatever but it's neccessary to verify the zip code to purchase online.

I think that you should try to save the money on the card on something useful or which could benefit you. I see so many kids wasting each penny they have on games, and it just is sad. I admit, I waste money on games too and 75% of the time I regret it since I never play them ever again.

Fixed it. Thanks Orion.
