i got 50% because i didnt "take notes the way she wanted me too"

One sentence isn't really enough to allow actual conversation because it doesn't actually tell anyone anything.

You might've accidentally entered the "Mind reading 101" class

we already discussed this on skype like yesterday

A 50% because you didn't take the notes the way your teacher wanted you to? I think that's pretty overboard. How did she want you to take the notes anyway?

SHUTUP MOM

Wow, way to completely disregard what she asked. It's not that hard.

Wait, hold up, did she write notes and you just ignored them 50%? Or did you just do a different style than like cornell notes or something.

I don't wanna be mean or anything, but part of doing classwork is following directions. I still don't think getting a 50 is worthy on such a little thing, I mean you still took the notes and highlighted and made side notes.

the directions were to take notes

Back in middle school around 2009, I was on the brink of failing Reading class on the first few weeks of 6th Grade because I never wrote my whole syllabus in cursive, even though the entire thing was already written, in addition that you also had to write the page where your parents have to sign.

I loving hate teachers who take one subject and change it to another, too. I have a English class which minds of well be middle school reading class, so I won't give a stuff if I fail next year's English course.

I think the teacher may of wanted it to be done a certain way though. I mean still, why do teachers have such strict standards these days? I wish teachers could simplify their directions and their learning curriculum.

"guys do this math"
"ok"
"bobby you got the right answer but you didn't do the math the way I showed you"
"but this way is easier for me to both do and understand. plus I got the right answer!"
"bobby you can't do that"
"why ms. teacher bitch?"
"because it wasn't the way I taught you. and so you fail"

In the end you still proved to be capable of figuring out efficient solutions when faced with a problem, doesn't that count for something?

my science teacher today:
"you should do this notetaking this way, seriously
like actually please i beg of you please do it this way
you HAVE TO DO IT THIS WAY IT'S THE ONLY WAY
but if you don't and you're getting As anyways then whatever"

My theater teacher yesterday:
"Take Cornell notes on this."
"But do we have to?"
"Yes."
and then she ends up not even caring afterward.
