If you really want to take a shot at being a poet, you need to be a lot more willing and be able to tell yourself "I can do it". It is an annoyance to publish a book, but now with E-Book technology you could always write a book/poetry using digital technology without having to pay thousands to editors and publishers.
I'd have to write a lot to publish a book and strong emotions make me write, today it was love and sadness, so that's where the weird subject comes from
odds are if I wrote a book it'd be one in my life and a collection of years of work
