Author Topic: Adblock as recently been failing  (Read 2340 times)

This has happened twice now, Adblock for Google Chrome has been giving out, even though it is enabled, and should be blocking said ads. I want to stick with Google Chrome, but with all the hassle it's been giving me I feel like I should switch over to Firefox. Serious suggestions only please.

firefox is the best browser there is. Chrome is buggy af.

this happened to me too

Aparently, sometimes you have to manually download adblocking subscriptions in order for it to work.

here is the main one

add this and it should work again

The extensions for a browser do not dictate the browser's bugginess. Chrome is perfectly stable, thank you.

I haven't had any problems with it.

...no. its only buggy if you're using chrome canary, and even then its usually not

ever since the owner of adblock added that petition thing, its been failing.
chrome isnt buggy, some of the extensions are.

I noticed it when tons of mediafire ads didn't get blocked and almost let me install some adware. If it keeps this up I'm just going back to AdBlock Plus.

Ads are how free services are possible, so if you don't get them their money through ads pay them or don't use the service.

imagine watching a playlist with ads enabled on every video, each video being 10 minutes long and having to watch a 30 second ad between each.
"Next time on Tales of Symphonia we will be taking on the final boss."
"Call of Battlefield: Halo Reach 7 GOTY Hyper Deluxe Edition, out now. 10/10 -some bullstuff game reviewer"
