????

i wish my high school was like this

the teachers are loving douches.

it's one of those IB schools.

I had a cool student teacher that would let you take pictures of the notes as long as you were paying attention so you could study them later.

He never got a job there though :(

the only normal teacher I ever had that let us have our phones out was my Algebra 8A teacher who coincidentally is also one of my wrestling coaches

Did you just start school today? And I'm going into the 10th grade, and I'm starting next Monday (I'm anxious). In the 9th grade, we had to use school computers to type things up, even if we had our own they still wanted us to use theirs.

My high school teachers are pretty cool.

my school takes your phone and gives you 6 days of on-record detention if you use it outside of the allowed area on campus

oh and they have the right to go through your phone if they want (which is legal, this is part of the agreement that students are required to sign in order to attend the school)

... yeah phones.

My highschool technologic experience has gotten progressively less restrictive. Freshman year, if a teacher even saw your phone it was gone until after class or for the rest of the week if it'd happened before. Now, I'm typing this message on a Microsoft Surface I bought to take notes and do classwork/homework on during class. Usually on the topic of phones teachers are still kind of restrictive but during the last 10 min of class if we've finished or something they usually don't care. Plus, they don't make an effort to take away the phones, usually they'll just say "Phones away please" or something if they see one.
