Two reasons:

1) Protesting red lobster doesn't nearly make as much controversy. The anti-gay protesters are looking to create drama. This is why you see the westboro baptist church on the news all the time. They do bad things to get press coverage.
2) Red lobster is loving delicious

tbh the bible was written tens of thousands of years ago, and it's not like God wrote it word for word, it was written as men interpreted what God was saying.

God loves all men equally, so I don't really understand why a Christian would be anti-gay on a religious basis.
