just a large portion of society doesnt agree with them, and im the same way.  I dont dislike them, i just dont agree with them

I personally don't find anything to agree on.
I'm not attracted to the same gender as them. That's about it.

I'm not a fan of gay culture, which I think probably causes a lot more prejudice and hatred than the actual concept of being homoloveual.
And the annoying thing about that, is that not all homoloveuals are into the gay culture, so some people are unfairly subject to prejudice because people stereotype homoloveuals by the gay culture.

Honestly, it is a bit of a legitimate concern that, in a lot of states, two people have to be a man and a woman to get married, and that in any other case, it's illegal because people are "uncomfortable" about it.

Getting married doesn't sound like a big deal on its own, but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of legal benefits to marriage that you wouldn't have if you and your homoloveual partner were just "together".

because marriage is literally a religious thing. its a ritual before god to own a woman. its been that way for thousands of years.

Stop being so sensitive. This board is far from anti-gay, I mean, half the forum is gay furries. Just because we throw the word "gay" or "cigarette" around, doesn't make the community anti-LGBT.

I don't get why marriage has to be religious, when atheist couples getting married at a Registry Office are still deemed "married".

Marriage is more than just religious.

I think churches should be able to say that they won't host a same-love marriage, sure. They have a right to uphold their faith too.
But I don't agree that same-love couples can't be "married".


And at the same time, different-love couples should be allowed to enter a "Civil Partnership" too.
Since it's about equality, both titles should be available for both at their preference.
