Spam bots.

I just banned like 12 spam bots from my forums, it's really starting to piss me off. In fact, it's not really possible since the registration has a strict captcha, so it must be human.

How the forget is spamming a small forum going to get any money? Like anybody's going to purchase anything from you?

Also, I just googled my site and apparently it's on some shady japanese bloggy bulletin board spam things.

Does anybody know how to stop this? I tried using robots.txt to block Google but I had no luck.

you could always try using an additional way to register,
like with the forum keys we need

maybe it'd just be your bl_id and ign using rtb to verify that

It looks like they are all automatic, I doubt someone is actually spending so much time trying to spam up a site using proxies on their own.
