I'd like to point out that the Atrix had fingerprint scanning in 2011, and Motorola gave up on the feature because nobody cared (so Apple bought the fingerprint tech).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29410379Also, for people complaining that Androids are harder to use: you can get an iOS launcher or ROM that will make it operate in the exact same way as an iPhone. Nobody does it because it would be a downgrade- Androids let you customize your home pages with widgets and whatever you like, leaving the apps in your app drawer so they don't hog all the space.
There are too many benefits with Android to list, but a few exceptional points:
-larger screen size
-variety of phones to choose from (meaning varying glass types, displays, cameras, speakers, etc)
-phone prices + retailers (e.g. Costco which even has a 90 day return policy)
-open source (can edit files from computer or file manager)
-internet downloads (images, videos, docs, etc)
-syncs Google account (no more signing in for Google Apps, no more "new iPhone need numbers!" posts on Facebook)
-launchers on play store to change interface (Nova, Trebuchet, ADW, etc)
-can remove battery/get extended battery packs
-uses mini USB rather than gay iPhone charger
-Google Now tells you what you want
-More apps on Play Store, Amazon etc (yes, there are multiple android app stores)
-Emulators (play GameBoy, DS, N64, etc games)
-Live wallpapers (interact with input +
you can even convert GIFs to live wallpapers)
-No physical buttons (Nexus devices)
-Many more settings for phone customization (eg adding shortcuts to apps on lock screen) and settings are all in one place
A screen size comparison:
Here is one of many examples of how iOS 7 has already been duplicated on Android:

This is just another gimmicky iPhone update used to scam Apple fanboys and get their money. Like always, android has done it before, and Apple claims it to be a new feature (eg running apps display, NFC, notification bar).
