You are both close minded. SeventhSandwich have you heard of Thalidomide? It was drug proven to cure morning nausea for pregnant women, however many women took it and the end result was babies born with nasty birth defects. Just type in Thalidomide into google imagines. Igloos, black walnut is used in herbal medicine, but is proven to be toxic.
Unfortunately, it is hard to have a sample size large enough to represent the entire population. If in a study of 1,000 healthy women, 5 babies had birth defects against a placebo 2, it would still be considered a safe drug. Unfortunately, with hundreds of thousands of women taking the medication, that 0.5% birth defect rate translates to hundreds of deformed babies. Generally, the FDA screening for drugs is rigorous enough to consider passed drugs safe. Actually, if anything it's a little too rigorous: we're forcing medicine industry out of America for cheaper drug production and testing, then simply filing for FDA approval after the drug is on the market elsewhere.

You under estimate the damage that Thalidomide caused Trinick. The point is nothing perfect, and people do whatever they want to fix their bodies.

You are a pot smoker right?

just because nothing is perfect doesn't mean that there's a not clear hierarchy in which medicines are better than others. This alternative medicine movement has caused way more deaths(hundreds of thousands) than lives it's saved (0).

I'm not underestimating it, I'm explaining it. And no, I'm not.

Herbal Medicine has been around since civilization started and to this day researchers still look to nature for possible medical breakthroughs. There is no denying that people have died from the use of natural medicine, however at the same time modern medicine has it's problems. You can either skew the facts to fit your agenda and spend trying to force your beliefs onto people, or you can shut up and use what you think works best for you.

The first argument you made is fallacious, and the second describes the realm of pharmaceuticals, not herbal medicines. There's a reason why people take aspirin in a pill and not aspirin extracted from pusillanimous individual willow bark.

You're comparing apples to oranges here. Natural medicine has never saved anyone's lives because it simply doesn't work. Modern medicine has saved millions of lives, and plenty of the deaths resulting from pharmaceutical medicine can be attributed to Self Delete or taking incorrect dosages.

What facts am I skewing here exactly? Pharmaceutical medicine is based on facts. It's based on meta-brown townyses of clinical studies containing thousands of participants. Sorry, but just because you 'think' herbal medicine is effective doesn't mean that it actually is, sorta like how just because some people think the Queen of England is a reptilian overlord doesn't mean she actually is ;).

This isn't a matter of opinion or subjectivity. You're just wrong.

You bitch. You know it's true.

i got a disease called ugliness

I prefer ibuprofen myself

Name one death caused by someone by rubbing aloe vera on themselves

I never said it was effect, I think that they can coexist. You on the other hand are like me. No facts to back up your claims, just common knowledge or opinions. Hell, I didn't cite my sources just like you didn't. Also the Reptilians days are numberd, soon the greys will come to destroy them.

Time will tell

Didnt expect a long arguement full of long essays

I don't know how know how it feels to have adhd, even though i have it

This thread has Attention Deficit Disorder.

It's like I've been in a mental asylum for years

(I'm pretty sure my brain's normal)

I used careful wording by saying that the alternative medicine movement has caused deaths, which it has. Go look up the statistics on HIV infection in South Africa. Does that count as citing my sources?

I've found nothing on google so far. HIV is a bloodborne pathogen, so it only enters your body if contaminated blood enters your body.

Speaking of blood. Did you know copper has anti-bacterial properties and animal's like the horseshoe crab have Hemocyanin which contains copper instead of hemoglobin. In their blood is Amebocytes which are like white blood cells, but more amoeba like. Some researchers have taken interest in this animal and harvest its blood.
