Author Topic: What's high-school like?  (Read 15220 times)

Well, it's dependent on what high school you go to. For me I definitely have a lot more freedom and you can roam around more without getting yelled at. It is definitely more difficult with all the work and time management, but it is rewarding. You have great experiences in high school though, but it's school, so I don't really like it. So ya, I have fun in it, it's just that I always hated school, but I have much more fun in high school.

Amazing
^^
Another thing being: A lot of kids generally shape up fast, so, less annoying stuff, like: Throwing paper around the room. Or having people draw snake's everywhere. Or maybe thats just what ive experienced

You forgot the food part

Whatever you think it is, it's not as great as college.
i always hear this and it makes me want to get through high school very much

Ha, I havent dated a single girl in highschool.

Dunno, for me I just dont have a huge interest in dating right now. Sounds funny and like a loser but Im actually sorta glad because it keeps me focused on my interests and hobbies like sports, music, and woodshop. And yea Im still a virgin obv because im Christian but whateves.
describes me so well, except for sports.

Bein' a freshman is totally fresh man, ditch class, punch bullies, throw 'em in a trash can!
High school is basically the same as middle school, except that your grades count and you'll have a pube-stache for awhile until you start shaving daily.

If you go into high school thinking like it's some sit-com you're a character in, you're going to get stuffty grades and look like a tool while doing it.

Fair enough. I believe we're not really getting anywhere because our views are so different though.
i look forward to picking the discussing back up when you have some experience to go behind what you're claiming

I feel that I've got enough experience to back myself up, but if it helps you feel more comfortable talking to me then, then sure. We'll talk about this another time.

what experience do you have being an adult in an adult relationship again??

Effort. Lots and lots of effort way beyond what anyone my age would do. That's my experience.

and effort somehow morphs into that experience does it?

lol

Through trying, you gain experience. Is that hard to understand?

trying to be an adult isn't being an adult

there's a huge difference which you can't seem to wrap your head around

What sort of difference is there besides age? Don't you realize that some legal adults still can't make their way out of being a child? It's based on maturity. I don't remember becoming a legal adult making you automatically an adult at heart.
