How to start on Source Filmmaker?

I've recently seen a lot of funny videos on the internet made in SFM, and I was wondering if I could make some too and also make pictures too.

The question is, how do I start? What models should I get? Games? Other things that may help?

Also, I'd recommend just messing around with TF2 models if you're a beginner, don't be overly ambitious or you'll disappoint yourself and burn out.
