Really, I don't see the point in teachers issuing homework. Before you pull the "immature teenager" card on me, I am one of the fast kids, and I don't really find homework "challenging". I find it boring.

and before you bitch I am not doing this to procrastinate doing homework, I already did it by the time you're reading this.

You do know these teachers have bachelor's degrees? They know what the forget they're doing. They want to make sure you know the material. Stop complaining and appreciate it.

If you're one of the 'fast kids', is homework really that much time taken out of your day?

a degree doesn't immediately mean they know what they're doing. it takes more than a piece of paper to be a good teacher

So assigning work that happens to be done at home makes you a bad teacher?

you must not have read the thread.

I have to agree here Op, I absolutely hate homework.  I find it boring and repetitive.

You earn the paper. The college/university determines if you're good enough to be a teacher. This includes teaching techniques and such.

Yeah you are an immature teenager. Most people that say they're ahead of the class and not challenged so they do bad are just actually lazy forgets. But homework is to reinforce what you've learned. It's pretty simple.

And you're a slacker genius too?

Most teachers just do what teachers have always done. I have teachers that actually thought about the matter by themselves.

But homework is meant to practice the concept of matter. It is to prove to teachers that you know what they taught.

so what you're saying is that every teacher who has been to university is a good teacher?

that's handicapped

My teacher (algebra) brings thoughts of murder that would make normal people talk to a doctor /joke
