when or if the game comes out, should I be trapless or go soundless again

trapless. people will not choose you a lot if you go soundless.

I know it's a bit dark, but I realized my uncle died the same day roger dog invaded toontown.

The most I've gotten was 109 on a lureless.

Anyone check out the update?

It was shut down because Disney bought Club Penguin for 400 million dollars and they only had enough money to run one game. Toontown was Disney's second-most profiting game, I don't care for Pixie Hollow, or POTCO. It was a completely stupid idea.
Money is a big issue, for both the players and Disney. Disney spent big bucks on a few things, Toontown players have to pay to do most things in the game, Disney gets little payment from Toontown due to lack of players, then they close it down.

Like TTRW's FAQ says, the game will be completely free.
toontown still wont get many players. one, this is an indie project which isnt going to get big adveretisment like it did when it was owned by disney. two, its old, its boring and doesnt really look good at all. p sure most kids would want to play something else. i bet at least 75% of the players will be older people who used to play it when they were young, and then theyll all leave once they realize its boring because they arent 10 anymore

(ARG maybe?)

(Minigolf/Gold section opened, but no golf/minigolf minigame yet)

(No major update, just indian hats)

Sorry for stealing your job for today, KelBlock.

Today's TTR livestream has a troll in the chat today. Welp, there goes the enjoyment of that.

Say that to the 105+ people who view the Toontown Rewritten topics on the TTC forums every day, and that's just their forum.
Even if it still doesn't get many players, it's a free game with a dev team that works on it for the sole purpose of bringing their favorite game back. They don't need or want money to do this.
Even though many players grew up, they didn't get tired of it, like I never did. Besides, the next generation of kids still played Toontown a lot even though it's older than they are.

Toontown was the first game I was addicted to on the computer.

Sorry for not being active, lately. I've recently returned from a trip to the mountains.

I wish I can get a key but I always miss the contests or whatever for one.

Just because it's old means it's boring? It's a fun game. 95% of the TTR community are older players who want to play their favorite game again. Toontown had about 10 thousand players, probably about 1k to 2k will come back. It's not a boring game, I bet you never played it. It's a masterpiece.

Kel told me to take care of the topic for a while. Fortunately, not much has occurred these past 2 days other than a bug fix and golf hats.

they're currently trying to fix the golf bug, and their lead dev is on vacation.
