Author Topic: Remember when the history channel wasn't only reality shows?  (Read 2332 times)

The same thing happened to Discovery Channel

Now its MOONSHINE, NAKED PEOPLE, GOLD MINERS AND AMISH GANGSTERS.

Oh and Mythbusters. But thats the only good show

I want the old history channel back. Military Channel is starting to adopt reality tv which is shame. Is it hard to ask for documentary about the Vikings and Saxons, or documentary about some guy who stubbed his toe in 1678.

I will say, I never watched MTV, and due to the new format, I never will other than a channel flip or the rare instance I'm at my relatives and for some odd reason its on in one of the rooms none of my other relatives are drinking in. :cookieMonster:

Atleast National Geographic is doing pretty ok, I see a few ww2 stuff once in a while.

Also I love Locked Up Abroad c:

the science channel. that's something, and it's a lot cooler than history
you guys just pay attention to the wrong stuff

Which documentary channel was it that did that 'Brain Games' programme, which was supposed to be a return to actually educational shows?

Because that programme was utter stuff. It was entirely made for thickies. Just consisted of a man pointing out the obvious.
I think it might have been on History, but I'm really not sure.

REMEMBER WHEN MTV WAS MUSIC TV?

I'd rather watch "1678 a fine year for toe stubbing" than "stubwars" or "can you stub harder than a fifth grader"
